Ejo elPrahno was a male Payav of the Nehdi tribe on planet Mestiko in the 23rd century. He was leader of his people in 2265, when "the Pulse" hit Mestiko. He was standing outside a cave, guiding his people to safety, when the pulsar's radiation first struck, rendering him blind.
He was married to Sorodel, with whom he had at least one daughter. His daughter and her husband died in 2293 of a mysterious illness, leaving him and Sorodel to care for their grandson, Chimeji.
