Ekoor was a Cardassian Glinn who joined the Rebellion in late 2375, during the Battle of Cardassia.

Ekoor was part of a detail with several Jem'Hadar soldiers that found where Corat Damar, Elim Garak and Kira Nerys were hiding on Cardassia Prime. As the Dominion soldiers prepared to execute them, Ekoor and his Cardassian soldiers shot them. Ekoor then pledged his life to freeing Cardassia from the Dominion.

He joined Damar, Kira and Garak on their mission to infiltrate Dominion Headquarters. Ekoor survived the mission, which was successful and led to the Female Changeling ordering Dominion forces to stand down, ending the war. (DS9 episode & novelization: "What You Leave Behind")

Ekoor later escorted the Founder onto the USS Defiant, which took Ekoor and the Founder to Deep Space 9 to sign the surrender documents. He later collaborated with Reese in an assassination attempt on her, posing as a Breen soldier. (DS9 short story: "Requital")
