Eldman was a small town on the outskirts of New York City by the 23rd century.

Thomas and Dana Mitchell resided in the town from the 2230s to the 2260s and beyond. Their son, Gary Mitchell, was also born in the town in 2234. (TOS episode: "Where No Man Has Gone Before"; and novel: My Brother's Keeper: Enterprise).
