Elemspur

Elemspur is a structure in Bajor's Hedrikspool Province. Elemspur was originally a monastery until the Cardassians converted it into a detention center early in the Occupation.

In 2361, Kira Nerys spent seven days in a cell block in Elemspur, with Yeln Arvam, Alu and Bakka. Kira had been brought there by the Obsidian Order for her memories to be implanted into Iliana Ghemor's mind. Skrain Dukat would later arrive and remove Kira, before Corbin Entek could have her killed. Dukat ordered Kira's experiences to be erased from her memory. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

Following the Cardassian withdrawal from Bajor, mass graves of Bajoran prisoners were unearthed. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

In 2371, Kira was contacted by Alenis Grem, who had been researching the Cardassian records of the Elemspur detention center for the Bajoran Central Archives. Alenis had discovered that Kira was detained at Elemspur, although Kira had no memory of being there. When Kira travelled to Elemspur to investigate, she was kidnapped by operatives of the Obsidian Order. (DS9 episode: "Second Skin")
