Eliot Ness was a male Human law enforcement officer from 20th century Earth. He was famed for his pursuit of powerful mob leaders in Chicago in the early part of the century, and for his team of loyal agents known as "the untouchables."

Ness was one of the figures noted in the book Chicago Mobs of the Twenties, and he served as the inspiration for Kall Porakan, a legendary law enforcement officer on Sigma Iotia II. (SCE eBook: Fables of the Prime Directive)
