Elliot Tindall was a Human male native to Devon, England, and a renowned research physicist in the 23rd century.

At some point prior to 2286, Tindall was killed in the incident that created the Devonshire Excavation, and his identity was later assumed by the Klingon spy, Kol, in order to infiltrate Starfleet and the Federation. (TOS novel: Timetrap)
