Emony Dax was a joined Trill who lived in the 23rd century and was the third host of the Dax symbiont. Emony's family name was Odaren before she was joined.

Emony Dax was a professional gymnast, and competed at the 2224 Olympics on Aldebaran, where she beat out a favored Argelian athlete to win three latinum medals. Following her career as a competitor, she became a judge for gymnastic meets. She met, and engaged in a brief affair with, Leonard McCoy during one such gymnastics competition at "Ole Miss". Both Jadzia and Ezri Dax have recalled Emony's memories when performing physical activities. (DS9 novel: Hollow Men, DS9 episode: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite", DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "Chiaroscuro")
