Emony Dax was a joined Trill in the 23rd century. Emony Odaren was the third host of the Dax symbiont.
Emony Dax was a professional gymnast, and competed at the 2224 Olympics on Aldebaran, where she beat out a favored Argelian athlete to win three latinum medals. Following her career as a competitor, she became a judge for gymnastic meets. She met, and engaged in a brief affair with, Leonard McCoy during one such gymnastics competition at "Ole Miss". (DS9 episodes: "Facets", "Trials and Tribble-ations", short story: "Old Souls").
Both Jadzia and Ezri Dax have recalled Emony's memories when performing physical activities. (DS9 novel: Hollow Men, DS9 episode: "Take Me Out to the Holosuite")
