Epsilon Gruis was a class A3V light blue star located in or near the space claimed by the Federation government in the galaxy's Beta Quadrant. The star was located in proximity to Theta Indi and Deep Space 4, near the Typhon Expanse. Epsilon Gruis was known to Humans as being visible from Earth in the Grus constellation, about 130 light-years distant.
