Eta Tauri (also known as Alcyone or 25 Tauri) is a star system, a multiple star located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

This star group consists of four stars located 541 light years from Earth, where they are visible in the constellation of Taurus. This system was, by the late 24th century, a holding of the Romulan Star Empire. The Acrux system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including second planet Alcyone II. The Alcyone civilization reportedly came from this star's system. (Startrek.com; ST video game: Starfleet Command III)

In gameplay, this name was part of a list that were applied to systems on the game map, with random attributes assigned to them.
