The Eye-to-Stars was a large structure that was created by the Vulcan civilization.

It was located in the Black Box Nebula where it was controlled at Station One by the scientist T'Prylla along with her family. The Eye-to-Stars was considered more than a simple telescope as it instead searched across probable universes as well as across distances of space and time. The only probable universe it could not scan was the line of the present reality.

In 2270, the Pau sought to use the technology of this device in order to restart the universe. (TOS novel: Corona)
