FGC-505183 was a binary star with an associated star system, located in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant, inside the boundaries of the Nekrit Expanse nebula.

History and specifics[]

FGC-505183 A and its companion B were both type G yellow dwarf stars, and lay in the general vicinity of Marayna's inversion nebula and the Sakari system. The FGC-505183 system was also the location of a hospitable planet. (ST reference: Star Charts, VOY episode: "Coda")

On stardate 50518.6, the Federation starship USS Voyager passed through FGC-505183 on its route through the Nekrit Expanse, and one of its shuttlecraft crashed on FGC-505183 II, the second planet in the system's orbit. (ST reference: Star Charts, VOY episode: "Coda")
