A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). For other uses, see Enterprise.
For the primary universe counterpart, see USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E)

In an alternate reality, the FSS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E) was a Sovereign-class starship in Starfleet service in the late 24th century. The FSS Enterprise was an alternate version of the USS Enterprise-E. In this reality, Jean-Luc Picard was Captain, Data was first officer, Geordi La Forge was the operations manager and second officer, Wesley Crusher was the chief engineer and T'Lana was Counselor. William T. Riker had taken command of the FSS Aries in 2365, and Deanna Troi moved to Qo'noS after she married Worf, the Federation Ambassador to the Klingon Empire. (TNG novel: Q & A)

History[]

In 2380, the end of the multiverse loomed because They were bored. At the same time, the Enterprise was swept to Gorsach IX in the primary universe by a quantum fissure. When the hostile IKS Qu' attacked the starship native to that universe, USS Enterprise, the FSS Enterprise and other Enterprises intervened, protecting the USS Enterprise and firing on the Qu'. When the primary Captain Picard and Q convinced Them to spare the multiverse, all Enterprises were returned to their native realms and the quantum fissure closed. (TNG novel: Q & A)
