Faith Gage was a human Starfleet cadet in the late 23rd century. She led a bridge simulation cadet group, acting as its captain. Gage was part of The Vanguard, a political group that beleived the federation should take a more hard line approach to hostile species, such as the Klingons and Romulans. In 2288 she was arrested for, amongst other things, blowing up the science lab at Starfleet Academy, almost killing cadet Sturek, tampering with evidence, and trying to frame Robin Brady. Faith Gage was played by Leslie Danon. It's also worth noting she was the only person who ever used the type-1 phaser that was introduced with the 2287 type-2 phaser on screen.
