Faith Homeyer was a human female scientist and member of Starfleet in the 23rd century. In 2267 she held the rank of lieutenant commander and was in charge of the USS Enterprise's physics lab, subordinate to Chief Science Officer Spock. (TOS novel Provenance of Shadows)
