Farians are a humanoid species from Farius Prime. They look similar to humans except for a rising ridge that goes from their nose to the top of their forehead.

History and specifics[]

Prior to opening up their world to trade and crime, the Farian people were philosophical and peaceful, with a tradition of quiet co-operation. (Decipher RPG module: Worlds)

By the 2340s, their government was the corrupt Farian Syndicate. (ST video game: Infinite)

Several Farians, including Thadial Bokar, Flith and Raimus, have been known to be members of the Orion Syndicate. (DS9 episodes: "Honor Among Thieves", "Prodigal Daughter")
