Farians are a humanoid species from Farius Prime. They look similar to humans except for a rising ridge that goes from their nose to the top of their forehead.

Several Farians, including Thadial Bokar, Flith and Raimus, have been known to be members of the Orion Syndicate. (DS9 episodes: "Honor Among Thieves", "Prodigal Daughter")

In 2364, Daisen Hamor, a male Farian, had cosmetic surgery to remove his nasal ridge and pose as a Human on Nehru colony. (ST - Department of Temporal Investigations novel: Watching the Clock)

Prior to opening up their world to trade and crime, the Farian people were philosophical and peaceful, with a tradition of quiet co-operation. (Decipher RPG module: Worlds)
