Farin Zak was a male Trill in the early 24th century. For a time, he was in a romantic relationship with a human woman, Rupi Yee. During their relationship, they spent a vacation on Altair VI, where they met and befriended Sonek Pran. Though Zak and Yee appeared to be happy together at that time, they broke up sometime during the following year. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

It is not stated whether Zak was a joined Trill or not. It is also unclear when his relationship with Yee was, though it was likely sometime in the 2330s or 2340s.
