Farius was a star system in the Kalandra sector of the Milky Way Galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. The system primary was an F class star with a magnitude of +5. (ST reference: Star Charts)
The third planet of six in the system, Farius Prime, was home to the Farian race. (Decipher RPG module: Worlds)
Farius formed part of the Galador Corridor along with the Klaestron system, Kotaki, and the Kressari system. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)

Farius appears on the "Alpha Quadrant Cardassian Union" map (p.47) in Star Charts. It is of the same type and class of star, and in the same position as Upsilon Andromedae, which appears on the "Trade Routes 22nd century" map (p.44).
