The Federation Department of Agriculture is the executive department in the Federation government concerned with agricultural yields and development. The Department of Agriculture was often criticized in the late 24th Century for not doing enough to promote new agricultural techniques and technologies; one of its harshest critics, Kolrami, became Federation Secretary of Agriculture in 2379 upon the election of Nanietta Bacco of Cestus to the presidency.
