The Federation Secretary of Military Intelligence is the individual in the Federation government responsible for coordinating intelligence information acquired from and relating to military sources for the Federation Secretary of Defense and the Federation President. The Secretary of Military Intelligence, while holding an important post, is nonetheless a mid-level position—a "do-er" who is not considered a full member of the Federation Cabinet.
