The Ferengi freighter or cargo ship was a type of freighter in use by the Ferengi Alliance in the 24th century.

Early on in his life, Quark served aboard a Ferengi freighter for eight years, working as the ship's cook. Unfortunately, the crew of the freighter weren't fond of his cooking, leading Quark to acquire a disruptor pistol. (DS9 episode: "Babel"; DS9 episode & novelization: The Way of the Warrior)

In 2368, a Ferengi cargo ship crashed in the Hanolin asteroid belt. Further investigation revealed that the ship was carrying contraband supplies, including fragments of a Vulcan Merchant-class transport. (TNG episode & novelization: Unification)
