The Fifth Battle Fleet (also known as the Klingons' Fifth Fleet) was a fleet of starships within the Klingon Defense Force serving the Klingon Empire.

In the year 2268 the Fifth Fleet was based out of the Klingon planet of Q'Tahl. That same year Starfleet listening posts along the border detected an expeditionary force of three Klingon bird-of-preys and two Klingon dropships as they headed to the last known position of the starship Dulcinea. The Klingon ships were destroyed when Lieutenant commander Bridget McLellan detonated a 5 megaton Trilithium bomb near the Klingon landing site. (VAN - Declassified novella: The Stars Look Down)

In 2381 the Fifth Fleet was under the command of General Klag, son of M'Raq. Among their campaigns included holding off the Borg at Morska during their general invasion in 2381 ^{[citation needed]} and the liberation of Krios from the Holy Order of the Kinshaya later that same year.
