Amelia Earhart (born 24 July, 1897) was a Human woman who lived on Earth during the 20th century.
Biography[]
She famed as an aviation pioneer. On July 2, 1937, she mysteriously disappeared, along with her navigator, Fred Noonan, during an attempt to circumnavigate the globe. Unknown at the time, Earhart and Noonan were two of the approximately 300 humans abducted by the Briori and transported to the Delta Quadrant. (VOY episode: "The 37's")
Earhart landed in a pasture at Culmore, north of Derry in Northern Ireland in 1932, after straying off course following a journey across the Atlantic Ocean. (VOY novelization: Flashback)
The question of Earhart's fate remained a popular subject of speculation in Human culture for centuries to follow, comparable to the disappearance of the Terra Nova colony. (ENT episode: "Terra Nova")
In 2371, the USS Voyager picked up an SOS call from Earhart's plane, and discovered her, Noonan and the six other 20th century Humans held in stasis. After being revived woken up, Earhart and her fellow abductees declined Captain Kathryn Janeway's offer to stay aboard her ship, opting to join the Earth-like civilization that had been established on their planet.
