Calbriden Prime was the first planet of the Calbriden system, located in the Beta Quadrant's Alini sector. It had two moons.
By 2410 Calbriden was a colony world with approximately 227,000 inhabitants from 22 cultures, but early in the Iconian War it came under attack. The Federation and Romulan Republic combined forces to evacuate Calbriden but at least 3,000 people went missing.
The Iconians subsequently destroyed Calbriden Prime, turning it into an asteroid field inside which they planned to create a pocket of tetryon space to allow the Solanae to operate in normal space. This plan was foiled in a raid by Captain Tom Paris' Delta Flight task group. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Delta Flight")
