The IKS Bortas was the prototype for the Bortas-class heavy battle cruiser in the early 25th century, designed at Ty'Gokor and launched in the year 2409.
History[]
Its shakedown cruise at Ganalda Station was briefly interrupted by a Federation fleet, led by their own new starship, the prototype for the Odyssey-class. The massive starship was a common sight at the Qo'noS shipyards. (STO video game: Star Trek Online)
