Kagran was a male Klingon officer living in the 24th and 25th centuries. He was responsible for coordinating the Iconian Resistance's actions during the Iconian War in 2410.

Biography[]

During the Iconian invasion in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, a briefing between several species was organized on Earth Spacedock to discuss the situation. Honor Guard Captain Kagran was chosen by the Alpha Quadrant Alliance leadership to be responsible for the Alliance's moves during the battle with the Iconians. Despite being Klingon, he reports to the commanders of Starfleet, the Romulan Republic and the Klingon Defense Force. (STO mission: "Blood of Ancients")

During the Iconian invasion of Qo'nos, Kagran was personally leading the Alliance efforts to defend the Klingon homeworld. (STO missions: "Brotherhood of the Sword", "Gateway to Gre'thor")

In 2411, Kagran was made commanding officer of the AFS Khitomer (CSN-01), the prototype of the Khitomer-class battlecruiser and the first ship of the Allied Fleet Service. In that year, Captain Kagran and his officers Commander Rinna Khev and Lieutenant Commander Kyla VanZyl attended a meeting of the Klingon High Council where Matriarch J'Ula of House Mo'Kai was present. Kagran and his officers wore the new Alliance uniform. The conference quickly descended into a firefight. This marked the opening of the Klingon Civil War of 2411. (STO - House Divided mission: "The Centre Cannot Hold")

During a prison break organised by Aakar of House Mo'Kai, Captain Kagran and the IKS Rotarran under General Martok organized the defense of Rura Penthe's installations, and aided a five-ship task force in recapturing the escaping prisoners. Following protracted battles involving dilithium haulers and other vessels, Aakar was forced to retreat. (STO - House Divided mission: "Best Served Cold")

Kagran, and the Khitomer, sided with Chancellor J'mpok during a battle at Khitomer II with House Mo'Kai and Matriarch J'Ula's new allies. The Khitomer was disabled in the fight, and left adrift in the planet's orbit. (STO - House Divided mission: "The Khitomer Discord")
