Tholia One was equipped with torpedo launchers and beam weapons in addition to its Tholian web generator. It's weapon strength was rated 2. The power of its deflector shields was rated 2 - twice the power of other vessels of the same class. (WizKids module: Attack Wing)
In the year 2268, Commander Loskene led a pair of Spinner-class starships, including the Tholia One, into an engagement with the Federation starship USS Enterprise. The Enterprise had violated newly-claimed Assembly space in a bid to rescue the USS Defiant. While the Defiant was lost, the Enterprise escaped the Tholian web, spun by Tholia One and its sister ship, through interphase. (TOS episode: "The Tholian Web")
