The USS Emissary (NCC-96003) 25th century Federation cruiser starship, the Emissary-class star cruiser prototype in Starfleet service from the 2400s decade. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
History and disposition[]
The ship, alongside the USS Sentinel and the USS Vanguard,[2] was conceived as an engineering department vessel, designed as the most resilient and largest Starfleet vessels to date. In the early 25th century, the original three star cruisers could accommodate a larger crew and enjoyed and advanced repair rate.
Together with the USS Destiny and USS Dervish, the Destiny visited a gas-rich nebula in deep space. (STO website : Ship Name Winners)
By the year 2409, the Emissary and other star cruisers saw active duty during the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock", STO - Empire mission: "Welcoming the Federation")
The USS Emissary could be deployed by the admiralty for assignments with other ships. (STO video game: New Dawn game mechanic: "Admiralty System")
In Starfleet Shipyard Operations shipyard interfaces, the Emissary visually represented its class from 2410 onwards. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
