Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

Ten ForwardCategories for image sources (Reply | Watch)

I have very slowly begun to add categories for the sources of the images such as Category:Memory Beta images (TOS episode images) and Category:Memory Beta images (video game images). This seems to me to be very worthwhile as the category pages for images are particularly good for browsing through. If implemented, most images would then fall in two categories - one for what it is an image of (like Category:Memory Beta images (Vulcans) and one for where it is from. Does this strike other people as worthwhile as well? One thing to think about is that if it will ever be worthwhile (like when we have at least one image from every episode) it should be started now. It will be easy to finish setting up the categories and organization to do this if no one thinks it is more trouble than it is worth. There aren't too many images to go through now to get this started (no need to rush it) and then all that is left is for people to add the relevant category when they upload a new image. --Jdvelasc 23:16, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
