Ten Forward → Memory aplha vs. memory beta (Reply | Watch) |
The difference, please? Cannon vs. non-cannon? Can I get a "For Dummies" version of this?
- Sure. Memory Alpha only covers information from the television series and movies (canon), while Memory Beta covers information from the novels, games, audiobooks, comics, and other non-television items that are licensed by Paramount (non-canon), but not fan fiction. We also have information from the TV series and movies, but our primary focus is the formats I already listed.--Long Live the United Earth 03:55, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that was "for dummies" enough. Try mispelling more words. -- Captain MKB 02:12, November 26, 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry Captain. I tried. :(--Long Live the United Earth 03:27, November 26, 2009 (UTC)
- No, you did good. My sarcasm got the better of me. You left out a link to canon though. -- Captain MKB 12:20, November 26, 2009 (UTC)
- I'll make sure to remember the cannon link in the future.--Long Live the United Earth 18:59, November 26, 2009 (UTC)
