Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

Ten ForwardNew article on language--requesting assistance (Reply | Watch)

I saw that this was one of the articles on the "wanted" list, and since I have kind of an armchair expertise in languages, I thought I'd take this one on. I know some basic formatting for Wikipedia articles, but I have a feeling that I need help from a formatting perspective to make it both more attractive and more useful to the Wiki in general.

I've written some very basic descriptions on the article's talk page of what I intend to go under some of the headings that I hope will help anyone else who gets in on the action at this stage.

If you feel my writing is too technical, please do let me know.

I am basing my article on the general Wikipedia article on language, but I am writing it myself with a Star Trek spin. Should citations be required, please let me know how heavily I am required to do so, as I do believe in credit where credit is due. Nerys Ghemor 01:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
