You should definitely read Immortal Coil as that focuses on Data and is a fantastic story to boot! (not that Metamorphosis is terrible, but I thought Immortal Coil was much better). --Jdvelasc 05:04, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I'd be remiss if I didn't recommend TNG: Survivors. It's a little more Tasha Yar-centric, but Data is a very big player and it's a good lead-in for TNG: Metamorphosis. -Thunderstrike78
