Ten Forward → Wikipedia Summaries (Reply | Watch)

As per the discussion a while back, it was mentioned that perhaps we could copy some episode summaries from Wikipedia for inclusion here to fill out the episode articles, until we got around to writing our own summaries. As a result of that discussion I have copied content from Wikipedia and placed it in the Spectre of the Gun article, as well as created a template pointing out that the information is from Wikipedia.

I would very much like to obtain all of your opinions on the matter, and see if we should do this with all of our episodes summaries.

I feel the wikipedia template should go at the top of the page. And should add some kind of suggestion that it would be just dandy if a user wished to replace the summary with an original version. Also I question the necessity for spoiler warnings on episodes that are potentially 40 years old, on a site that states on the front page it contains spoilers and under the summary heading which quite obviously will spoil something. -- 8of5 22:34, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
