Dr. Leonard McCoy had Dr. Christine Chapel deal with an ailment in sickbay when McCoy went to talk with Lieutenant Saavik. McCoy had previously commented to Fredericks that he'd seen worse mosquito bites. (TOS comic: "The Wormhole Connection")
