Furnace Creek was a small municipality in the state of California on Earth, located within Death Valley.

In one alternate timeline, the residents of Furnace Creek -- in particular, a man named Timbisha -- made a point of protecting the privacy of Lady T'Pol of Vulcan, who took up residence in Death Valley in the 23rd century. (Star Trek: Myriad Universes novel: A Less Perfect Union)
