Gagarin IV is the fourth planet of nine orbiting a blue class A star. It is Class M and the location of Darwin Station, a civilian-run research base. The planet and its system are fifteen light years from Andoria. (TNG episode: "Unnatural Selection"; Decipher RPG module: Worlds)

GeographyEdit

The planet's young age is revealed through its surface features as wind and water have not had the time to erode and weather them. Much of the surface of Gagarin IV is covered in a green slime or primitive single celled organism. As the planet lacks more sophisticated species, as well as bacteria and viruses, it is ideal for research as samples cannot be contaminated. (Decipher RPG module: Worlds)
