The Galactic Army of Light was an organization founded by Sybok. Sybok created the Galactic Army of Light on planet Nimbus III in 2287 as part of his quest to travel to Sha Ka Ree. This included attacking Paradise City, kidnapping Ambassadors Caithlin Dar, Korrd and St. John Talbot and hijacking the USS Enterprise-A.

Members of the Galactic Army of Light would use pipe guns, knives and Tsemus in their assault on Paradise City. (ST movie, novelization & comic adaptation: The Final Frontier)
