Galagos VI is a colony planet with many Human inhabitants.

Prior to 2372, all of the inhabitants of Galagos VI were infected with a retrovirus. Two hundred thousand humans later developed gills after the retrovirus reactivated a dormant genetic code. This later became known as Panzer's Syndrome. (DS9 novel: The Heart of the Warrior)
