Galaxy Alpha was a stellar region explored by the USS Enterprise on stardate 18:09.2. At first, the starship encountered no life in the region. (TOS comic: "The Planet of No Return")

It is unknown if this galaxy is actually a separate galaxy from the Milky Way, as the Enterprise would not have been able to reach it under normal warp speed in any reasonable time.
