The Gamma Xaridian colony was a Federation science colony located on a planet in the Gamma Xaridian system. It supported eighty-three scientific committees and was defended by Bravo Station. The colony was destroyed and all its inhabitants were killed when it was attacked by Rithrim raiders in 2267. Starfleet received their emergency broadcast and assigned the USS Enterprise to investigate the attack. (TOS novel: The Disinherited)

It was not made clear in the novel on which planet the colony was located. It was given as Gamma Xaridian III in Chapter Three, but as Gamma Xaridian IV in Chapter Seven.
