Ensign George Carmona was a human security officer aboard the USS Enterprise-E in 2379. Carmona was part of the search and rescue team which went to Tezwa in search of Commander Riker and his missing tactical team. The bodies of Lieutenants Kelly Tierney and Matthew Barnes were found along with Master Chief Petty Officer Razka, but Riker's was nowhere to be found. (TNG novel: A Time to Kill)

A few weeks later, he was having lunch with three of his shipmates in the plaza in front of the Deelatava on Tezwa when a hybrid-plasma photon charge detonated destroying the building and vaporizing everyone in the plaza. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal)
