Glasgow University was a place of higher learning in the city of Glasgow, in Scotland, on Earth.

In 2394, Glasgow University issued several requests to retired Starfleet Captain Montgomery Scott to guest lecture; Scott lived only a few kilometers away, but refused the requests while he dealt with his guilt and depression over the loss of his former commanding officer, James T. Kirk. In a meeting between Scott and Guinan, Scott mentioned that the university was more than nine centuries old and had not changed it facade for three - or its curriculum. In real life, the university is known as The University of Glasgow.
