Gorsach was a star system that was the assigned survey area of the Federation starship USS Enterprise-E in the year 2380.

History and specifics[]

Discovered by Efrak chim Gorsach, the system consists of a yellow G-type star, ten planets, seventeen moons, six planetoids, and three asteroid belts. Of the orbiting bodies, Gorsach IX is class M, Gorsach V is an overly large gas giant, while Gorsach IV is a relatively normal-sized gas giant. (TNG novel: Q & A)
