Gretchen Hudson was a human female who lived in the 24th century, and was married to Starfleet officer Cal Hudson.

Like her husband, Gretchen was close friends with Benjamin Sisko, Jennifer Sisko, and Curzon Dax. In 2354, the Hudsons accompanied the Siskos to the Mazurka Festival.

Unfortunately, Gretchen died in 2369, which had a terrible affect on her husband. (DS9 episode: "The Maquis, Part I")
