Grul was a female Klingon in the 24th century. In 2344, she was the nursemaid to Tiral, whose parents were killed in the Romulan attack on Narendra III. When Tiral was appointed governor of taD, he made Grul the head supervisor of the topaline processing plant on the planet. She was one of the Klingon survivors of the attack on that plant by al'Hmatti rebels in 2375. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)
