The Hôtel de Ville was a building in Paris on Earth, near the Champs-Élysées. Since the 14th century, it had housed the municipal government for the city of Paris.

The Hôtel de Ville survived into the 24th century, and was one of the landmarks visible from the Presidential Office in the Palais de la Concorde. (ST novel: Articles of the Federation)
