Hamexi are a species originating from the Alpha Quadrant.

The Hamexi are known to be a reclusive species, due to a strict society on their homeworld. They are also unique genetically, as the species share numerous genetic information, making most members of the species appear alike, often confusing outsiders. (DS9 novel: Hollow Men)
