Harry S. Truman (May 8, 1884 - December 26, 1972) was a human who lived during during the 19th and 20th centuries on Earth. Truman served as President of the United States from 1945 to 1953, first assuming office when Franklin D. Roosevelt died in office, and later winning election to a full term as President.

Truman kept in close communication with US Army personnel after a Ferengi spaceship crash-landed in the desert near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. (DS9 episode: "Little Green Men")
