A harvester craft was a type of starship operated by the Ngultor, its purpose was to harvest biological material from nest worlds the Ngultor identified as sources of flesh. In 2254, when a Ngultor mothership accidentally found its way into Federation space, the Ngultor onboard threatened to send harvester craft to the region to take advantage of the many potential harvest locations they identified while collecting flesh to repair the mothership. To prevent this from happening Captain Christopher Pike of the USS Enterprise was forced to order the destruction of the mothership before it could return to Ngultor space and report its findings.
