Helot

In the alternate timeline where Khan Noonien Singh won the Eugenics Wars, a Helot is a conscripted crewperson in the Earthfleet of the Children of Khan. Helots had few rights aboard Earthfleet ships, and were generally treated as little more than slaves. Members of various alien races subjugated by Earth (including Trills such as Ezri Tigan, serving on the starship Defiance) were often pressed into service as Helots.
