Highlands

Glynnis Campbell painted a Highlands landscape in 2271.

Highlands were an old Earth term for an area that was raised or involved hills. The north end of Scotland was often called the Highlands. In 2294, the Highlands were within the Eurosphere.

Montgomery Scott had a house in the Highlands of Scotland in 2294. The citizens of this area were most often Gaians and quite proud of there not being any local Enviropods, Alien Parks, or Fantasy Stimulators. (TOS novel: The Fearful Summons)
